AgFieldScout
Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using AgFieldScout web and mobile services, including accounts, field data, reports, photos, GPS, notifications, and support.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AgFieldScout, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website, mobile app, or related services.
2. Use of Services
AgFieldScout is provided for agricultural scouting, reporting, field management, map, photo, GPS, notification, and related business workflows. You agree to use the service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to avoid misuse, unauthorized access, or interference with the service.
3. User Accounts
Some features require an AgFieldScout account. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information, and controlling which users are allowed to access your account data.
4. Data Ownership and Privacy
You retain ownership of the field, crop, client, report, image, GPS, trap, recommendation, and other data you enter into AgFieldScout. AgFieldScout uses that data to provide the service, generate reports, support users, secure accounts, and operate enabled features.
Your use of AgFieldScout is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
5. Photos, Location, Voice, and Notifications
The mobile app may request camera, photo library, microphone, speech recognition, location, and notification permissions. These permissions are used only for AgFieldScout features such as report photos, voice notes, GPS tagging, field mapping, native uploads, and app alerts. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
6. AgFieldScout Service Messages - SMS Terms
AgFieldScout may offer optional SMS messages for account notifications, trial and subscription updates, onboarding, support, product updates, service announcements, report reminders, and related AgFieldScout service messages. SMS consent is voluntary and is not required to purchase, start a trial, or use AgFieldScout.
The signup form presents an optional Phone Number field and a separate SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default. To opt in, you must physically check the SMS consent checkbox before submitting the signup form. Agreement to these Terms or the Privacy Policy alone does not create SMS service messages consent.
The exact signup checkbox disclosure is: "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring SMS messages from AgFieldScout about account notifications, trial and subscription updates, onboarding, support, product updates, service announcements, report reminders, and related AgFieldScout service messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase."
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. After you opt out, AgFieldScout will stop sending non-exempt service text messages to that phone number unless you opt in again.
SMS support is available through the contact page, the support page, or by email at nick@agfieldscout.com.
