AgFieldScout service messages SMS Opt-In and Opt-Out
SMS consent is clear, explicit, voluntary, and separate from agreement to the Terms of Service. You do not have to agree to receive SMS messages to purchase, start a trial, or use AgFieldScout.
The signup form presents an optional Phone Number field and an unchecked SMS consent checkbox. To opt in, you must physically check the checkbox before submitting the form. If the checkbox is not checked, AgFieldScout does not treat the signup as SMS service messages consent.
The exact signup checkbox disclosure is: "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring SMS messages from AgFieldScout about account notifications, trial and subscription updates, onboarding, support, product updates, service announcements, report reminders, and related AgFieldScout service messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase."
To opt out after subscribing to SMS messages, reply STOP to any AgFieldScout text message. After opt-out, we stop sending non-exempt service text messages to that number unless you opt in again. You may also contact support through the contact page or the support page for help with SMS preferences.
Your Choices
- You can decline camera, photo, location, or notification permissions. Some related features will not work without those permissions.
- You can disable notifications in AgFieldScout notification settings or in device settings.
- You can decline SMS service messages consent by leaving the SMS checkbox unchecked during signup.
- You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
- You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal account data by contacting support.
- Report and agricultural business records may be retained as needed for account operations, backups, legal obligations, or legitimate business records.
Security and Retention
We use access controls, HTTPS, account sessions, database permissions, and operational safeguards to protect data. No system can guarantee perfect security, so users should protect their passwords and only grant account access to trusted people.
We retain account and report data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, maintain backups, resolve disputes, comply with law, and preserve business records.
For detailed retention windows, deletion actions, and enforcement controls, see the Data Retention and Deletion Policy.

AgFieldScout is intended for agricultural professionals and business users. It is not directed to children under 13.
